“A couple of years ago I was privileged to attend one of the Civil War excursions run by Mr. Campbell. Our trip to Antietam/Sharpsburg was a fascinating study of the battle and the lead-up and aftermath of same. Mr. Campbell’s knowledge is impressive, but it is his style, delivery and conveyance of the information and history that really made the day rewarding. I have always been a bit of a Civil War buff, and I was thoroughly impressed by the way Mr. Campbell conducted the trip. I would heartily recommend FFC Historical Tours for a highly enjoyable and educational outing.” – John S.
For a deeper look at this important moment in American history, we recommend the full-day tour. During this tour we will hit all the highlights of the half-day, but add new locations and dive deeper in unit actions on the day and cover more individual stories during the day.
