Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions will apply when travelling with FFC Historical Tours (FFC)

Reservations and Payments:  To reserve your tour space for a given tour, complete the Registration Form and make either a deposit payment, half payment or full payment.  Half payments (50% of the tour cost) is due within 90 days of the tour start date, the entire tour cost is due within 60 days of the tour start date.  Payments can be made electronically or by check.

Airfare: Air travel to the destination is not included in the price, nor provided as a service by FFC.  We encourage participants to purchase ticket no sooner than 60 days prior to departure.  FFC accepts no responsibility or liability for cancelled flights, nor nonrefundable tickets in the case that a tour is canceled.

Luggage: Every airline has a different luggage limitations and restrictions.  Please check prior to departure with your individual airline for policies.  FFC is not responsible for lost or stolen luggage during our tours.

Rooms: Our tour prices are based on double occupancy.  We will attempt to match participants who are traveling alone with another participant to alleviate the single occupancy charge.  If we are unable to match a traveler, the single occupancy fee will apply.  FFC is not responsible for personality clashes during the trip.  We will make sure to forward contact information for each party prior to departure.

Cancellation and Refunds:  FFC will refund all payments made if a customer cancels more than 90 days prior to the start date of the tour, minus a $100 administration fee.  If a cancellation is made between 60-89 days before the start date of the tour, the customer will receive a refund on all payments minus the trip deposit.  If cancellation occurs between 30-59 days prior to the start date of the tour, customers will be responsible for half of the tour cost.  If a customer cancels 29 days or less prior to the start date of the tour, customers will be responsible for the total tour cost.  All cancellation must be made in writing.  If sent in an email, the email time stamp will apply to the refund structure. If sent via the postal service, the postage stamp date will apply, toward the refund structure.

Itinerary Changes and Delays: FFC will make every effort to follow published itinerary. If, due to causes beyond FFC’s control, itinerary points are canceled, FFC will make all reason effort to supply comparable services.  If circumstances require, FFC reserves the right to change or substitute any published plan.

Physicality:  Participants are solely responsible for being in sufficiently good health to undertake any tour and for taking appropriate medical precautions.  FFC cannot provided medical advice. Participants are encouraged to contact family physicians for travel health questions.  All trips require walking and getting on and off motor coaches.  Participant are responsible for judging their own capacity and to be able to do tour activities without delaying or infringing upon the progress of other travelers.  If you travel with FFC Historical Tours, we must be alerted at time of registration of any disability, handicap, health or dietary restrictions or any condition that may interfere with or limit your tour participation.

Travel Insurance: FFC Historical Tours highly recommends that participants purchase a travel insurance package.  We believe that cancellation, emergency medical coverage and emergency evacuation coverage should be purchased by the participants.  Medical insurance is especially important if the trip goes outside of the United States because often U.S. policies will not apply.

Currency Fluctuations (international tours only): A prices are quoted in United States dollars.  Prices are subject to adjustment in the event of international currency fluctuations.  FFC reserves the right to cancel a tour if fluctuations exceed 15% between the final date of registration and the start date of the trip.  In this case, customers will receive a full refund.

Passports (international trips only): Valid passports are required for all tour participants on international tours.  Failure to obtain a passport by the departure date will jeopardize participation in the tours and forfeiture part or all of tour costs.

Tour Participants: FFC Historical Tours reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant or to expel from the tour any person for any reason who, in our opinion, is not compatible with the interest of the group.

Responsibility of FFC Historical Tours: FFC acts as the agent for the owners, contractors and suppliers providing lodging and transportation in connections with its tours.  As such our liability is limited specifically to the conditions assumed by them in this publication or by other specifics contract agreements with providers.  We are not responsible for losses or additional expenses incurred through delays or changes in flight schedules of transportation services, nor for injury, death, damage, delay or losses due to weather, strikes, bankruptcy, quarantine, acts of war, terrorism, civil disturbances, government action or regulations, acts of God, or any other causes beyond our control.
